指一段時(shí)間里，不斷地，不停地做一件事
例如：I have to be active—I couldn't sit around all day and everyday, now that I'm retired.
我得活動(dòng)活動(dòng)，現(xiàn)在退休了，不能天天這么呆著。
2. any day(now)
隨時(shí)，很快，就這兩天
如：Mary's baby is expected any day now.
瑪麗的孩子這幾天就要出生了。
3. any day of the week
表示喜愛的程度，肯定自己的看法“絕對(duì)，怎么都行”
如：I don't like coffee. I'd rather have a cup of tea any day of the week.
我不愛喝咖啡。什么時(shí)候我都愛喝茶。
4.Good day
這句話是一天里隨時(shí)可以說的問候語，與hello/hi意思相近
如：G'day,mate. How're you doing?
哥們好啊，怎么樣??？
5.in all my/his...born days
表示強(qiáng)調(diào)和驚訝“我這輩子，長(zhǎng)這么大……”
如：I've never heard such nonsense in all my born days.
我這輩子還沒聽過這么無聊的話呢
6.It's all in a day's work.
分內(nèi)的事，每天該做的事
如：-Fireman,thank you for getting my cat down out of that tree.
-Oh, no. It's all in a day's work.
-消防員，謝謝你把我的貓從那棵樹上弄下來。
-沒什么，不用謝，這是我應(yīng)該做的。
